Early Educators Montessori Nursery

Meet our team

We are very proud of the staff team at Early Educators Montessori!

As we recruit to the highest standards, ALL our staff hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate and have attended Safeguarding training.

Amongst the nursery practitioner team there is a wide range of experiences and language skills and continual professional development is our priority.

We also offer a wide range of training opportunities in order to develop the skills, knowledge and capabilities of our team.

Management Team

Karen

Manager and Director
Karen has been manager here since 2006. Over time she has created a fantastic, very capable, highly motivated and supportive  team who are all passionate about giving your child the very best standards in childcare.
She has overseen the expansion of the nursery to create a whole new garden designed to optimise our beautiful setting; She is constantly innovating and improving what we do and  she is very proud of the nursery.

Karen has enjoyed over 20 years’ experience working in customer services and prides herself on being professional, friendly and approachable, with an enthusiastic attitude. Having previously worked on a school reception she has a great rapport with children. It is then that her naturally calming nature and ability to listen is most appreciated by parents.

Outside of nursery I enjoy walking my dog in the fresh air with my husband, embroidery and knitting, and spending time with my children and extended family.

Hasina

Deputy Manager
I am the Deputy Manager, the SENCO and 2 year old Lead at Early Educators Nursery.
I believe that it’s amazing seeing children grow into confident and bright individuals that are ready to explore the world and beyond.
I am a mum to 4 amazing children and a very creative individual who likes to crochet, sew and DIY. I also make resources for the nursery!
In my spare time, I enjoy baking, (making bread and doughnuts my favourite!) and cooking foods from different countries. I love sport and my favourite ones are table tennis, badminton and volleyball.

Shabnam

Manager and Director
Shabnam has over a decade of experience of working within, and running, outstanding child care facilities and brings with her a raft of childcare qualifications.
Together with Karen, Shabnam is responsible for coordinating the opening of Early Educators Montessori Nursery.

Shabnam is passionate about her career in childcare and has always aimed to ensure that children learn in a safe, secure and stimulating environment, which provides the highest quality of care.

She spends her free time exploring on days out and love museums and the theatre.

Adele

Marketing Manager and Web Master
I joined Early Educators Montessori Nursery since it opened and I do love working here as everyone shares the same vision and is dedicated to the mission of ensuring a safe, secure and stimulating environment for the children.
I work hard to maintain that level of trust in the company, which keeps me engaged and excited — but at the same time, I love that my job enables me to enjoy my other passions in life: childcare.
Indeed, I have over 10 years’ experience of working in nurseries as practitioner.
I hold a MA in Visual Arts and a Level 5 in Early Years.
I speak English, Italian and Spanish and in my spare time, I enjoy travelling and reading.

Our Montessori Practitioners

Amran

Level 3 Practitioner
I am a level 3 practitioner who has been working in childcare over the past 4 years.
I enjoy teaching, encouraging and supporting children's wellbeing, physical and cognitive development through fun and exciting activities.
In particular, I love messy play, as this provides children to explore and experiment with different objects and raw materials without any end goals to restrict them.
My passion is working with children, and being part of their growth and development makes me feel extremely proud.
In my spare time I like to spend some quality time with my children by baking and watching movies. I also love to do zumba at the gym, as this enables me to stay active and look after the busy children at the nursery.

Rachel

Level 2 Practitioner
I joined the nursery as a trainee and over the years I have gained valuable experience in all age groups as I am determined and eager to learn.
I do believe my passion and my experience as a mother make me a good practitioner.
My goal is to support every child under my care in every area of their development and I am currently completing my Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
Outside of work I love to spend time with my family, going to the seaside and cooking filipino food.

Jelena

Level 3 Practitioner
Jelena has always had a passion for working with children and watching them grown and develop. Going outdoors is something she find exciting as she loves to observe the children discovering new surroundings and letting them use their imagination. Seeing children achieve their milestones, gives her a feeling of reward as she knows that she has helped the child to progress She loves helping them as they engage with their surroundings; learning to manipulate things and expanding their language and social skills.

Having previously worked on a school reception she has a great rapport with children, and with four of her own, she can empathise with parents who may be nervous when their child first joins us.

During her working life she has progressed up to her current role as Deputy Manager, where she is passionate about managing and supporting the staff to provide the best development and care for the children.

I am known to be at home in the kitchen, my speciality is a homemade risotto! And after all the eating and entertaining I like to do I try to keep fit by running on a regular basis.

Suganthi

Level 3 Practitioner
Suganthi has over a decade of experience working in nurseries, most of that with children in the 18-24 month age range.
Her favourite times at the nursery are when the children are including her in their play and she gets a chance to see a glimpse of how they really think and feel.  She enjoys being creative, encouraging children whilst understanding each child’s personal developmental stage.  Amber says there is always something exciting happening when working with this age group. My favourite times at the nursery are when the children are including me in their play and I get a chance to see a glimpse of how they really think and feel.
I have progressed up to my current role where I am passionate about managing and supporting the staff to provide the best development and care for the children. It's fantastic to get to spend my days with such lovely children and a wonderful staff team and I find it very rewarding.
Outside of work I loves to spend time with my family, especially my young niece and nephew. I'm a huge spectator sport fan and love to go watch live sport such as tennis at the O2, football, athletics and live shows such as Strictly Come Dancing
